Total U.S. Boxboard Production Fell 2.9 Percent in August
(Washington DC, USA, Sept. 22, 2016) The American Forest & Paper Association has released its August 2016 U.S. Paperboard Report. Total boxboard production decreased 2.9 percent when compared to August 2015 but increased 0.9 percent from last month.
Unbleached Kraft Boxboard production decreased over the same month as last year but increased compared to last month.
Total Solid Bleached Boxboard & Liner production decreased when compared to August 2015 but increased compared to last month.
The production of Recycled Boxboard decreased compared to August 2015 but increased when compared to last month. (Source: AF&PA)
