Poland’s Velvet Care to invest €37M, expand workforce
(Warsaw, Poland, Nov. 14, 2016) Polish tissue paper maker Velvet Care is implementing an investment worth PLN 160 million (€37 million) to build new production halls at its plant in Klucze, Poland.
The company will purchase a new paper making machine that will raise its output capacity by about 70,000 tonnes per year, Marek Sciazko, the deputy president of Velvet Care, told local daily Gazeta Krakowska.
Currently, the factory is operated by about 370 employees. This year, the plant’s workforce was raised by 60 employees, and by the end of this year, Velvet Care could hire a further 30 employees. (Source: press release)
