KapStone Container Corporation announces price increase
(USA, Sept. 28, 2016) KapStone Container Corporation will be increasing box prices by a mininum of 8% and sheet prices by a minimum of 10% effective with shipments on October 10, 2016. This increase follows the $50.00/ton containerboard price increase that our plants will begin incurring on October 1, 2016.
Our high operating rates, declining inventories, solid boxboard demand, rising input costs and the necessity for reinvestment are a few factors driving this increase.
