Valmet receives a repeat order from Nine Dragons in China

International Paper Acquires Europac’s Tangier, Morocco Packaging Facility for EUR 40 Million
(Memphis, June 29, 2017) International Paper announced yesterday that it signed an agreement to acquire Europac’s Tangier box plant for 40 million Euros. With this acquisition, the company expects to realize significant synergies in its box system in Morocco as well as from the paper integration with the recently acquired Madrid, Spain, mill and its existing recycled containerboard mill in Kenitra, Morocco.

(Memphis, USA, June 29, 2017) International Paper today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its foodservice business in China to Huhtamaki Hong Kong Limited.

Kotkamills to discontinue its operations in Imatra
(Finland, 03 Jul 2017) The Kotkamills group has been producing Saturating Base Kraft (laminating papers) in Tainionkoski, Imatra on Paper Machine 7 (PM 7) leased from Stora Enso Oyj since the separation of Kotkamills from Stora Enso in 2010. (Germany, June 27, 2017) Papierfabrik August Koehler SE said that it will increase its prices for carbonless paper by up to 12%, effective worldwide for all deliveries from September 15 onwards.
