(USA, Oct. 11, 2017) Neenah Paper, Inc. today announced it had signed a definitive agreement to purchase all of the outstanding equity of W.A. Sanders Coldenhove Holding B.V. (“Coldenhove”). Coldenhove is a specialty materials manufacturer based in the Netherlands, with a leading position in digital transfer media and other technical products.

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper to Hike Price for Thermal and Carbonless Papers
(Germany, Oct. 9, 2017) Mitsubishi HiTec Paper said that it will be increasing prices for the entire line of THERMOSCRIPT thermal paper as well as GIROFORM carbonless paper on January 1, 2018.
In a press release, the company said, “The level of increase will vary depending on region and application. This is due to the further increased raw material and logistics costs.”

(Helsinki, Oct. 10, 2017) Valmet said that it will supply an extensive grade conversion rebuild with a wide scope of automation for Sappi Lanaken Mill in Belgium. (Helsinki, Finland, Sept. 7, 2017) International Paper today announced that it has completed the sale of its foodservice business in China to Huhtamaki Group. The deal includes two manufacturing units located in Shanghai and Tianjin, employing altogether approximately 200 employees.
