Belarusian paper mill eyes higher exports following upgrade
(Minsk, Belarus, Sept. 28, 2016) Belarusian paper mill Red Star is planning to raise its exports following the completion of an investment that allowed the firm to increase its output capacity from some 33 to 80 tonnes per day.
The project enabled Red Star to raise its revenues by a robust 150%, reports local daily Vitebske Vesti. The paper mill is a subsidiary of local company JSC Svetlogorsk CKK, and it is based in Chashniki, in the country’s north-eastern region of Vitebsk. The investment was carried out by Czech paper machine producer Papcel a.s. (Source: media reports)
