New-Indy to Acquire Corrugated Packaging Company, triPAQ
(USA, Dec. 13, 2016) New-Indy JV Corp. announced that they have entered into an agreement to acquire triPAQ, Inc., a second generation family-owned corrugated packaging company with facilities in Santa Ana and Cerritos, California, Mexicali (Mexican state of Baja California) and Tijuana, Mexico.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
New-Indy issued the following statement. “The acquisition of triPAQ, Inc. provides New-Indy an entry into the large Southern California box market and expands its footprint into Mexico with a diverse mix of custom corrugated and specialty packaging capabilities,” New-Indy said in a press release.
“The synergistic acquisition will further integrate New-Indy’s mills in Ontario and Oxnard, California as well as the Encorr Sheet feeder that is scheduled to begin operating in early 2017 and is located next to the Ontario Mill.
“Brad McCroskey, CEO and co-chair of triPAQ, Inc., will continue to oversee the company’s operation and growth,” New-Indy added.
