(Indonesia, 11 April 2017) The Indonesian Pulp & Paper Association (APKI) says most of national pulp and paper output is exported abroad. Approximately 60 percent of domestic production is shipped to Indonesia’s export destinations. Toscotec receives eight orders from APP; scheduled to come on stream in Q4 2017 and Q1 2018
(Italy, April 04, 2017) Toscotec has received in total 8 (eight) Tissue Machine order from APP. Two of the Tissue Machines are scheduled to come on stream in Q4 2017 and Q1 2018, respectively. Mitsubishi HiTec Paper to Hike Price for Specialty Papers
(Germany, March 31, 2017) Mitsubishi HiTec Paper said that it will implement a 6-8% price increase for its specialty papers worldwide, beginning with deliveries June 1, 2017.
The German paper producer said, “Rising costs of pulp, chemicals and logistics make this price increase essential.”

FajarPaper Starts Up New Corrugated Medium Paper Machine in Indonesia
(Indonesia, March 31, 2017) FajarPaper on March 24 started up its newest paper machine, PM8, at the company’s mill in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia.
PM8 has the capacity to produce 350,000 metric tons per year of corrugated medium, which will increase the mill’s total production capacity to 1,550,000 metric tpy.
