Italian tissue paper machine maker seals Bolivian contract
(Italy, April 10, 2017) Italian tissue paper machine producer GapCon Tissue S.r.l. has obtained a contract from Bolivian paper manufacturer Copel S.A. to supply a new tissue paper machine.
Under the plan, the new machine will be delivered to Copel’s production facility in the Santa Cruz de la Sierra industrial park, and it will be enabled to make some 85 tonnes per day. Production is scheduled to be launched in mid-2018. The amount of the latest deal was not disclosed.

Valmet to supply Irving Consumer Products with TAD Tissue Machine
(Helsinki, April 7, 2017) Valmet announced that it will supply a new Advantage ThruAir (TAD) machine for Irving Consumer Products. Andritz to upgrade wet lap plant for Thai Paper
(Graz, Austria, April 10, 2017) Andritz has received an order to upgrade the wet lap plant of Thai Paper Co., Ltd. at its Wangsala pulp mill in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. Start-up is scheduled for July 2017.
