Huhtamaki invests in new paper cup manufacturing unit in Kiev

(Helsinki, March 06, 2017) Huhtamaki will set up a greenfield paper cup manufacturing unit in Kiev, Ukraine. Huhtamaki has been present in Ukraine since 2002 and is currently serving the market by importing products mainly from its manufacturing units in Poland. Total U.S. printing-writing paper shipments decreased 5% in January; boxboard production dipped slightly in January 2017

(Washington, USA, Feb. 28, 2017) The American Forest & Paper Association has released its January 2017 U.S. Printing-Writing Paper Report which said total printing-writing paper shipments decreased 5% in January compared to January 2016. Nippon Paper Industries agrees to sell Port Angeles Paper mill to Bio-Pappel

(USA, March 2, 2017) Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. today announced the sale of the Port Angeles, Washington paper mill and cogeneration assets, which are owned and operated by Nippon Paper Industries USA Co., Ltd. to McKinley Paper Company. (Tokyo, January 07, 2017) Oji Holdings will construct a new Australian plant for food-grade cardboard boxes made from pulp, rather than recycled paper, for supply to local meat processors and farmers.
