Domtar to invest $25 million in upgrade projects at paper facilities in Pennsylvania

(USA, Jan. 30, 2017) Domtar Corp. will spend about $25 million to convert boilers to natural gas from coal and modernize equipment at two paper plants in Pennsylvania, according to a news report from the Charlotte Business Journal. Romcarton Bucharest to launch new corrugated cardboard plan

(Bucharest, Romania, Jan. 27, 2017) Romanian corrugated cardboard maker Romcarton Bucharest has unveiled plans to open a new production facility in Popeşti-Leordeni, in the country’s southern part. To carry out the investment, Romcarton Bucharest has obtained a bank loan of €29.6 million, of which some €27.5 million will be used to construct the facility, and the remaining €2.1 million will be used to purchase new machinery and related equipment.
