(Indonesia, Nov. 29, 2016) PT-Fajarsurya, a subsidiary of the Indonesian paper major PT Fajar Surya Wisesa, awarded a contract for 10 corrugators to BHS Corrugated in September this year, two-and-a-half years after BHS established an Indonesia office. Sappi profit up 91 per cent to $319 million

(Johannesburg, S Africa, Nov. 28, 2016) Sappi’s EBITDA excluding special items for the year was $739 million, an increase of $114 million, or 18%, on the prior year. Operating profit excluding special items for the year was $487 million compared to $357 million in the prior year. Empresas CMPC 3Q EBITDA dropped by 21 per cent

(Santiago, Chile, Nov. 28, 2016) Empresas CMPC 3Q 2016 revenue was $1,245 million, 5% higher compared to 2Q 2016 and stable compared to 3Q 2015. Quarter-on-quarter, revenues rose in the Tissue and Pulp division. The Tissue business benefitted from higher sales volumes and prices as measured in US Dollars, which benefitted from the weaker dollar as well as higher prices in local currencies. FFIF: Finland’s paperboard production up 17.5 per cent in 3Q

(Helsinki, Nov. 30, 2016) Finland's paperboard production grew by as much as 17.5% in the 3Q, to 840,000 tonnes, boosted particularly by new investments in the forest industry.
