U.S. Printing-Writing Paper Shipments Decreased 8 Percent in September

(Washington DC, USA, Oct. 24, 2016) The American Forest & Paper Association has released its September 2016 Printing-Writing Paper Report. According to the report, total printing-writing paper shipments decreased 8 percent in September compared to September 2015. Total printing-writing paper inventory decreased 4 percent from August levels. SCA to invest nearly $24 million in its Kentucky plant

(Sweden, Oct. 25, 2016) SCA, a global hygiene and forest products provider, will increase its production and product diversity in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with a nearly $24 million investment expected to create 20 jobs. SCA currently employs 140 workers at its Warren County location, which manufactures adult incontinence products under the Tena brand name. U.S. containerboard production in September increased 2 Percent; boxboard production down 4.2%

(Washington DC, USA, Oct. 20, 2016) The American Forest & Paper Association released its September 2016 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report which said containerboard production was 2 percent higher compared to September 2015. The month-over-month average daily production compared to August 2016 was 1.4 percent lower. Paper Recycling Rate in Europe Reached 71.5% in 2015

(Brussels, Oct. 20, 2016) The European Recovered Paper Council (ERPC) announced that the paper recycling rate in Europe reached an impressive 71.5% in 2015.
